It has been months, but the appreciation for RRR still continues to come from western audiences. For the last couple of months, Hollywood filmmakers, screenwriters, critics, and actors have been praising RRR on social media.
Even the mighty Russo Brothers of Avengers: Endgame fame have also showered heavy praises on this action drama. The other day, famous filmmaker Edgar Wright, who is popular for the films like Shaun of the Dead, Scott Pilgrim vs The World and Baby Driver also fell for the film.
Wright caught up with the film recently and said that he had a blast. He also said that it is the only film where the intermission card itself got huge applause.
“Finally saw @RRRMovie on the big screen at the @BFI with a great crowd. What an absolute blast. So entertaining. The only film I have ever seen where the intermission card itself got a round of applause,” tweeted Edgar Wright.
Now, with this appreciation, the demand for RRR to be sent to Oscars has picked up. Everyone is now demanding that RRR should be sent to Oscars with a prediction that the film will definitely bag some key awards.
We have to see how many more Hollywood folks will shower their love on this film in the coming days. Directed by SS Rajamouli, RRR features Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles.
