With every new project, South star Thalapathy Vijay is registers a new record when it comes to pre-release business, OTT rights, non-theatrical rights. The actor’s next under direction of Vamsi Paidipally, which is being bankrolled by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations, is getting fancy offers from the buyers. The film is now enjoying a good buzz and the all stakeholders are quite excited about it considering success rate of Dil Raju in Telugu and Vijay’s popularity.
Meanwhile, a latest update coming in from our close sources say that the makers pocketed a hefty Rs 150 crore for non-theatrical rights of the film which also include Hindi dubbing rights. Titled as Varisu (Thalapathy66), the film has Rashmika Mandanna as leading lady. Other important cast of the film include Sarath Kumar, Prabhu, Shaam, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Yogi Babu, Jayasudha and Sangeetha
With Thaman as its music composer, Varisu is being shot by Karthik Palani and editing by Praveen KL. The screenplay of the movie is jointly handled by Vamshi Paidipally, Hari and Ahishor Solomon.
