There is no stopping for Kantara at the Indian box office. It is still ruling the theatres in Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and North India for the last few weeks. Even the Diwali releases couldn’t stop Kantara’s storm.

The trade circles are surprised to see Kantara’s exceptional performance in the Hindi belt. Last week, we witnessed two big Bollywood releases: Ajay Devgn’s Thank God and Akshay Kumar’s Ram Setu. Among them, Ram Setu did a decent performance at the box office. However, the collections dipped in the second week. Due to a phenomenal response to Kantara, the distributors are now replacing Ram Setu and Thank God with this Kannada dubbed flick in theatres.

According to the trade reports, Ram Setu collected around Rs. 2.70 crores on October 31. The total collections now stand at Rs. 58.70 crores. On the flip side, Kantara did a business of over Rs. 43 crores in North India alone. The worldwide collections of Kantara’s all versions have crossed 200 crores recently. As there are no big releases in Hindi this week, we can expect Kantara to do well for the next few days too. Directed by Rishab Shetty, this film is bankrolled by Hombale Films. Rishab is also the lead hero in it.
