Adivi Sesh is known for making interesting thrillers like Kshanam, Goodachari and Evaru. On the flip side, young director Sailesh Kolanu proved his mettle by scoring a success right with his first film, HIT: The First Case. Both of them teamed up for a new film titled HIT: The Second Case. While Vishwak Sen played the lead hero in the first part, Adivi Sesh has been selected as the lead in the sequel.
The theatrical trailer of HIT 2 was unveiled earlier today. Going by it, the film looks like a suspenseful investigative thriller, just like its predecessor. Sesh plays the role of a cop in Andhra Pradesh. He thinks that criminals don’t have intelligence. He calls them ‘Kodi Burralu’.
A clever cop of such stature is challenged by a clever serial killer, who kills multiple women on a trot. He poses riddles and challenges to the protagonist. How the lead hero unravels the mysteries and catches the killer, seems like the main plot of the film. The trailer is extremely engaging and raises anticipation around the film right away. The background score deserves special mention.
HIT 2 features Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead. Nani and Prashanthi Tipirneni are bankrolling the project. It is slated for a worldwide release on December 2.
