Addressing a rally in the presence of Rahul Gandhi, Udai Bhan, Digvijay Singh and others, M Kharge took a dig at Union Home Minister Amit Shah who is on a poll-bound rally in Tripura. Amit Shah announced that the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya will be completed by 1st January 2024, against which Kharge made certain remarks.
While Amit Shah said, “Rahul baba, listen from Sabroom (Tripura) that a mammoth Ram mandir will be ready on January 1, 2024” essentially attacking Rahul Gandhi, the Congress chief responded with, “ Who are you to make such an announcement? Are you the pujari or the mahant of the Ram temple?”. He further talked about BJP being careless about actual problems in the country like inflation and unemployment and yet again focusing on communalism to win elections basing Ayodhya Ram Temple as the centre of their campaign for the 2024 General Elections.
He also said that the Centre is using independent agencies to target the opposition. As of Congress is concerned, Rahul Gandhi has led Bharat Jodo Yatra successfully as of now and they are soon to enter Panipat in Haryana.
