During the Oscars event, Will Smith pulled out a controversy by slapping comedian Chris Rock. It has become a hot topic in the world. In front of everyone, Will Smith lost his sense and slapped Chris Rock for passing comments on his wife. Not stopping there, Smith also abused the popular comedian which everyone objected to.
However, Chris Rock maintained decency and continued the event. A lot of comments came out on this issue and a few even revealed that Will Smith has tendered an apology officially.
In one of the interviews that took place recently, Will Smith tendered a public apology to Chris Rock. Smith was asked if he never felt like apologizing to Rock. He was also asked how did he feel about the incident.
Reacting to the same, Will Smith told, “I made an attempt to talk to Chris Rock. But, he is not ready to talk to me. However, I am now addressing Chris Rock publicly and tendering a sincere apology to him. This apology might not be enough. But, I am ready to sit down with you, talk to you and tender my apology. I also apologize to your family, the Oscar committee on this note. Please forgive me.” said Will Smith.
