67th Filmfare Awards: Ranveer Singh and Kriti Sanon Bags Best Actor And Actress

The 67th Filmfare Awards 2022 are handed out on Tuesday evening in Mumbai. In this, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh won the Best Actor award for his fabulous performance in cricket drama ’83’, while Kriti Sanon got the Best Actor in a Lead Role (female) award for ‘Mimi’.

Ranveer Singh got the honour for his stupendous performance as former Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev in Kabir Khan’s 83. On the other hand, Kriti received the award for her role as a surrogate mother in the film Mimi. Also, Pankaj Tripathi and Sai Tamhankar were announced as the best actors in a supporting role category for the film Mimi itself.

Meanwhile, Shershaah starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani bagged the best film. Also, director Vishnuvardhan got the best director award for Shershaah which came as a film based on the life of Vikram Batra who was martyred in Kargil war.

Celebrities like Asees Kaur, Vicky Kaushal, Vidya Balan, B Praak, Vishnuvardhan, and Pankaj Tripathi have also got the trophies at the 67th Filmfare Awards in different categories.
