Megastar Chiranjeevi teamed up with his son Ram Charan and director Koratala Siva for the film Acharya. Amidst huge expectations, the makers released the film in theatres, but it did not do well at the box office. Acharya ended as a big flop at the box office. Chiranjeevi was silent all these days but he finally broke his silence on the film’s failure.
During the pre-release event of First Day First Show, the actor has opened up that content alone can save any film in theatres and any film with bad content will have to taste a bad result at the box office.
“After COVID-19, everyone is unsure of what type of content will click at the box office. But, it is very clear that the films with good story will only survive at the box office and I am no exception and my film also failed badly at the box office. Films like Sita Ramam, Bimbisara and others did well because of good content,” said the actor.
Chiranjeevi hinted at the failure of Acharya and he came to a realization that good story will help the film score well at the ticket windows.
