Chiyaan Vikram played the lead role in the recently released Tamil film Cobra. Also starring Srinidhi Shetty, Mirnalini Ravi, and others, the movie created a big hype before the film’s release. The film opened to a mixed response from everyone in Tamil. The film is reportedly doing an average business at the box office now.
If the speculations are true, the prestigious movie has made a box office collection of Rs 12 crore in Tamil Nadu, and Rs 1.25 crore in Kerala. Reportedly, the film had a good opening in Malaysia as well. But, the film did not fare well in the Telugu states.
However, the film is running successfully in the top position in the countries like Malaysia. The over runtime is reportedly said to be a minus point for the film.
Directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, ‘Cobra’ is an action thriller where Vikram has essayed multiple roles and the film is the investigation journey of a mathematician turning into a cold-blooded assassin.
The film also stars Irfan Pathan, Mrinalini Ravi, Meenakshi Govindarajan, KS Ravikumar, Miya George, and Roshan Mathew.
