Cobra Box Office Collections:
Cobra is one of the recent releases in the South. The Tamil film was also released in Telugu. Directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, the film was released on 31st August, on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. However, the film opened to a divide talk initially. But, the makers keenly observed the feedback as well as criticism and trimmed the film. It has worked big time for the film unit.
As per the latest reports in the trade, the film collected Rs 50 crores in 5 days. The extended weekend has helped the film to score well at the box office. The film grossed close to Rs 38 crores worldwide. We hear that the movie grossed over Rs 12 crores worldwide to reach Rs 50 crores in 5 days worldwide.
The film is not only performing well in Tamilnadu and the Telugu states but is also doing well in other parts of the country.
KGF fame Srinidhi Shetty made her Tamil debut with ‘Cobra’. She acted as Vikram’s romantic interest in the film. Along with Vikram, the film also features Irfan Pathan, Roshan Mathew, Meenakshi, Mirnalini Ravi, Robo Shankar, and KS Ravikumar. AR Rahman scored the film’s music.
The film is running successfully in theatres. More details of the project are awaited.
