Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra Part One : Shiva starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles has finally hit the theatres and is being widely loved by all the audience.

Despite negative reviews from critics or boycott calls, Brahmastra has ended as one of the best Bollywood films in recent times at the box office.

After bagging a record starting by collecting Rs 75 crores worldwide on its 1st day, Brahmastra saw a massive jump in its collection on day two, that is on the weekend starting Saturday.

If the reports are to be believed, Brahmastra earned Rs 85 crores worldwide on second day, taking its total collection so far to Rs 160 crores in total.

Marking the film’s success, on Saturday, the film’s director Ayan Mukerji took to his social media account and wrote, “A Big Thank You to Everyone Everywhere who has gone to the Cinemas to experience Brahmastra, keeping our movie-going culture, vibrant and dynamic. Looking forward to the next few days.”

Brahmastra is an ambitiously planned trilogy, and this film released on September 9th marks the first part. Besides Ranbir and Alia, it also stars Sahraukha Khan, Nagarjuna, Amitabh Bachchan, and Mouni Roy in key roles.
