Sharwanand starrer ‘Oke Oka Jeevitham’ which was released last weekend has gained good word of mouth and a lukewarm response from audience & critics alike. Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, this bilingual flick managed to pull crowed of both languages but couldn’t sustain it.
Although the film gained a decent reception, it failed to extract breakeven after 5 days too. According to our sources, the film collected around 8.07 CR and it needs more than 1.73CR to break even. Made on a huge budget the film did manage to create a good market for itself but the dull promotions have hurt the collections. It is high time that the production team realises promotions are very crucial for the reach of the film. Regardless of the good content, if the makers couldn’t properly promote the film, they might end up dry financially.
On the other hand, director Shree Karthick seems to be very much satisfied with the kind of reception the film received in both languages. He also said that he wants to make his next with ‘Ixon Star’ Allu Arjun and he’s even ready to wait for another couple of years for the star dates as his content is exclusive for the star!
