The Film Federation of India picked a Gujarathi film against the public talk that RRR should be sent as India’s official entry. However, the move from the Film Federation of India is proving to be turning beneficial for the team only. RRR team is now planning to send the film to the Oscars in different categories. The buzz is that the USA distributor of the movie is planning to arrange a special screening of the film to the Academy team.
If the film gets accepted to be sent for consideration into the nominations, the film will have a fair chance to compete in the major categories such as Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best supporting actor, Best Orignal Score, Song, Best VFX, and other important categories.
The USA distributor has taken this prestigiously with the government picking up a Gujarathi film. The show screening is reportedly expected to take place on the 30th of September. A huge promotional campaign is being organized for the same in the USA. The Indian community in the USA is also looking forward to a good news.
The icing on the cake is that Rajamouli is also planning to mark his presence for the screening in the USA.
