Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt played the lead roles in the film Brahmasthra: Part One – Siva. The film has become a very big hit at the box office. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film was bankrolled by Karan Johar, Apurva Mehta, Ranbir Kapoor and others. The film completed a successful run of two weeks at the box office and it is still holding well, especially in the North belt.
On the National cinema day, the film opened to good numbers at the box office. Even after that, the movie is managing to earn more money at the ticket windows. The film reportedly notched up to Rs 5 crore [nett] on Saturday [September 24]. The makers did not expect this positive reception for the film, at the box office.
Initially, the film unit thought that the movie would be an average grosser but all of a sudden, the appreciations have come for the film, from all the corners. The makers are finally happy with the film’s success. The film marks the first release of both Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, after their wedding.
