Meanwhile, we have come to know that she was granted interim bail on Monday in the case, which is a big relief.
The actress was granted interim bail on Monday in the Rs 200 crore money laundering case against conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. The bail has been granted by Delhi’s Patiala House Court, subject to a bond of Rs 50,000. On the bail plea filed by the actress, the Additional sessions judge, Shailender Malik sought a response from the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
The next hearing in the case will be held on October 22. Earlier, Sukesh was questioned for eight hours already, and the probe agency filed a charge sheet on August 17th, naming the actor as an accused in the case. The actor was allegedly gifted jewelry worth over Rs 7 crore by Sukesh Chandrasekhar and it has become a trending news on social media. At the same time, he reportedly gave multiple other gifts to many other actors.
Currently, Sukesh Chandrasekhar is in jail and is accused of cheating various high-profile individuals. The investigation is still in progress, in the case.
