Rishab Shetty’s Kantara, which is having a dream run at the box office, has grossed almost over Rs. 175 crore, since its release on September 30.
After scoring a blockbuster in Kannada, the film was released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, and bagged tremendous response. Marking the film’s success, Rishab has now addressed the possibility of transforming the film into a franchise.
He in a latest interaction with the media said that as of now he has no idea of making Sequel for Kantara but for sure in future, he will think of a sequel as well as a prequel for the film. He also made it clear that he would think about taking the brand forward only after two months.
Kantara is an action-thriller, starring and directed by Rishab Shetty. The film’s story revolves around the traditional culture of Kambla and Buta Kola. Bankrolled by Vijay Kirgandur under the Hombale Films, the film’s cast includes Kishore, Achyuth Kumar, Prakash Thuminad, Pramod Shetty, and Naveen D Padil, among others.
