Rishab Shetty’s ‘Kanatara’ has turned out to be a massive blockbuster across the county and has been reported that it has registered the record of being most watch film of Hombale films and most collected film of Kannada cinema, surpassing the lifetime collections of ‘KGF’.
regardless of all the political controversy surrounding the film, it not only just maintained its grip but also, has seen an increase in it. It is reported that the film saw a 70% significant growth on its 5th Saturday & Sunday. The film had double growth in the advance bookings as compared to Friday, it draws in Rs. 3.14 CR from the advance bookings for Day 30. It has recently crossed the Rs. 200 CR gross domestically, while the native version records Rs. 136.3 CR, Hindi Rs. 34.2 CR, Telugu Rs. 26.67 CR, Tamil Rs. 4 CR and Malayalam Rs. 4.2 CR. According to the trade pundits, the collection was 9.5-10.5 CR this weekend.
The film is expected to cross Rs. 275CR mark domestically this week and shall land around Rs. 300 CR worldwide this weekend.
