Mani Ratnam is one of the most successful filmmakers in South Cinema. He is currently working on an interesting pan-India project. With the film’s release getting ready, the promotions are in full swing. Interestingly, Mani Ratnam was in Mumbai yesterday talking to the multiplex chains that he wants his film to cost the consumer Rs 100 only. It will surely help the audiences to flock to theatres, especially in North India.
The advance bookings began on Sunday and we hear that the film collected a big revenue already. As per the reports, a total of 225 cinemas in Tamil Nadu opened the advance bookings. The trade pundits say that 2.5 lakh tickets have already been sold. It has collected Rs 4.5 crore through advance booking. The final numbers are expected to be out soon. The film is hitting the screens in other languages as well.
Chiyaan Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Jayaram, and Kishore among others who played the pivotal roles of the movie.
The film’s first part is releasing on the 30th of September. The second part of the movie is also expected to hit the screens soon.
