After a long wait, Bollywood has scored a solid box-office hit in the form of ‘Brahmastra’. The film featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt has opened to good buzz and emerged as visual treat for audiences. The super success of this movie gave a massive boost to Bollywood, which was reeling under a series of flops.
Directed by Ayan Mukherjee, Brahmastra is a fantasy action adventure movie with wide star cast that include Shahrukh Khan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and more. In first two weeks of release, this film has entered into 400 Cr club and is still entertaining viewers in theatres. According to our sources, Disney Hotstar has acquired digital rights of Brahmastra for a whopping moolah and they are planning for an OTT release in second week of October.
At box-office, Brahmastra emerged as biggest grosser of Bollywood this year and recovered well with good occupancy. Brahmastra ensured a good hype for second installment of the film and speculations are rife that Hrithik Roshan may feature in a key role in it.
