‘Why Kattappa Killed Baahubali’ (WKKB) was a very popular and mysterious element director Rajamouli used towards the end of Baahubali: The Beginning. With his brilliance, the filmmaker built a craze around it and used WKKB to promote the second installment all over the globe. It looks like the master of craft, Maniratnam is also going to follow similar pattern for his most-anticipated project ‘Ponniyin Selvan’.
The multi-starrer movie featuring Karthi, Chiyan Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha and Jayam Ravi is picking up good popularity among audiences as the lead cast is going all out with massive promotions. As per our reports, PS1 will likely have a mysterious twist in the climax which would give a lead to its sequel. If the reports are to be believed, the role played by Karthi (Vandiyadevan) will get killed by another lead character. However, the facts about assassination will be kept on hold for second part (PS-2).
With massive expections, PS-1 is set to light cinemas on 30th September in all languages and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to make it reach all section of viewers. Ponniyin Selvan is the story of Chola kingdom, which is considered as a key period in the Tamil community’s history. With music by legendary AR Rahman, the film also features Vikram Prabhu, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Prakash Raj, Jayaram, Sarathkumar, and Prabhu.
