Tamil hit film Vikram Vedha was remade in Hindi with the same title. Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi played the lead roles in the Tamil film. The Hindi version features Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles. The film was released on last Friday and opened to average reviews at the box office. Meanwhile, the film completed a run of five days at the box office and is inching towards scoring 50 Cr rupees gross domestically.
On Monday, the film made a decent amount of Rs 5.40 crore. On Day 5, the film did witness an upward trend of around 10 to 15 per cent in the collections. Pushkar Gayathri duo who directed the Tamil film also directed the Telugu film.
The box office clash with other films proved to be an element for the film not collecting enough and falling short of the expectations. Interestingly, the film brought out the best of both the actors.
Meanwhile, Vikram Vedha is getting so much of love from the urban areas of North India. If the trend continues, the film might score more money in the coming few days until a new film comes at the ticket windows.
