Kantara is one of the recently released Kannada films. Billed to be an action thriller, the film is written and directed by Rishab Shetty. The film is being called a gem by everyone now and the entire South film industry is looking forward to seeing it in other regional languages. The film also features Sapthami, Kishore, Achyuth Kumar and Pramod Shetty in key roles.
The film has got an interesting story and it is set in Keraadi in coastal Karnataka region. Kantara is about a Kambala champion who is at loggerheads with a DRFO officer. The film is having a grand release soon in Telugu, with the same title.
Today, the Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran took to his Twitter profile to confirm that the film will be having a release in Malayalam.
Prithviraj Sukumaran announced the Malayalam release of Kantara proudly, by writing, “#KANTAARA Malayalam! Coming soon! I absolutely HAD to do this after watching the Kannada version! Do not miss this gem in the theatres when it releases across Kerala in Malayalam.”
The Kannada film has been receiving rave reviews from critics and audiences. Let us hope that the film becomes a hit in Telugu and Malayalam as well.
