For this festive season, the two biggest & besties of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar & Ajay Devgn have clashed with each other with ‘Ram Sethu’ & ‘Thank God’. And, coincidentally but unfortunately, both the film tanked at the box office with very less interest from the audience.
Starring Ajay Devgn, Siddharth Malhotra & Rakul Preeth Singh, ‘Thank God’ is a fantasy film where Ajay plays the role of Chitragupta & Siddharth an egoistic real estate broker. Even the family audience seems to ignore the film and the film had a very slow run at the box office. Although the film had a slight jump over the weekend, it managed to collect just Rs. 3.85 CR on its 5th day and reached the mark of Rs. 25 CR on its 5th day. Looks like the film reached the end of its theatrical run and the pundits expect the run to be dead by Monday. Even with such glamour & reputed cast, the film failed to attract the audience.
Directed by Indra Kumar, the film lies along the lines of the Telugu film ‘Daruvu’.
