“Today, job appointment letters are being handed over to 3,000 youths to work in different government departments in Jammu & Kashmir,” said PM Narendra while speaking about the ‘Rozgar Mela’ that’s taking place in Gujarat currently. He also went on to make some interesting remarks & promises.
A Rozgar Mela is an event where a number of employers and job seekers come together for the purpose of applying and interviewing for jobs. Defined more precisely, a Rozgar Mela is an employment strategy to fast-track the meeting of job seekers and employers. While congratulating thousands of young candidates who were given appointment letters for different posts in various grades, the Prime Minister also recalled that on the auspicious day of Dhanteras he started the Rozgar Mela at the national level where he distributed appointment letters to 75,000 candidates. He also informed that in recent times 10 thousand youngsters were given appointment letters in Gujarat and the target of filling 35 thousand posts in the next year has been set.
“This will hugely reinforce the campaigns for last-mile delivery and saturation of coverage of the government schemes”, he said.
