Even before the ace director SS Rajamouli created a sensation with his Baahubali across the globe, Kollywood director Shankar is someone who scored Pan-India hits with few of his films.
Now, it is heard that Shankar is planning to compete with Rajamouli with one of his upcoming outings. Reportedly, Bollywood’s handsome hunk, Ranveer Singh is all set to collaborate with Shankar for the biggest pan-India project after Baahubali. This epic is said to be made as 3-parts on a humongous budget.
The high-budget project will be based on the iconic Tamil epic Novel Velpari, sources added. The other interesting thing is that Shankar is having a master plan to create a new phase in Indian cinema. As a part of it, he is planning this biggest pan-Indian film not only with superstar Ranveer Singh, but also with the other Superstars. However the details of the remaining two are yet to be known.
Reports further stated that the novel Shankar has chosen has everything to offer – from a larger-than-life hero to magnificent love story. So we have to wait and see when this collaboration will go on to the sets to create wonders in Indian Cinema.
