It looks like ‘Adipurush’ has become a punching bag for the netizens whenever a well-made VFX-induced trailer drops on the internet. Previously it was ‘Bhediya’, then ‘HunuMan’ and now, well it’s not a film this time, but a VFX video which recreated the scene of Prabhas penancing underwater.
Kunwar, a visual effects artist from Delhi has recreated the underwater scene of Prabhas from the teaser of ‘Adipurush’. Along with the scene, he made a 10-minute video showcasing his process of recreating the video using the available software. By the end of the video, the footage seems to be astonishing and many praises poured in for his work. This is also followed by the criticism of ‘Adipurush’, with people calling out the makers for claiming to be made with a budget of ₹500 CR.
Needless to say, the film was scheduled to release worldwide for Sankranthi 2023, but owing to VFX changes, the makers have announced that the film shall be releasing 16th June 2023. Directed by Om Raut, along with Prabhas, the film also stars Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan and Sunny Singh in crucial roles.
