Finally, actor Ayushmann Khurrana came up with a film that is being lauded by both critics as well as the audience. His latest flick An Action Hero is getting good reviews from everyone. Though the film opened on an average note, the collections improved on the second day, thanks to the positive response from the viewers.
An Action Hero opened on a dull note and collected only Rs. 1.31 crore on the first day. The word of mouth helped the earnings to get better on Saturday and it collected Rs. 2.16 crore. However, it is not enough as the film needs to earn more to get a hit tag.
On the whole, An Action Hero earned only Rs. 3.47 crores. Only positive word of mouth can help the movie in earning more in the coming days. Compared to the first day, there is a 60% growth on the second day. It is expected to get better today. The Sunday performance will decide the movie’s fate at the box office.
Directed by Anirudh Iyer, An Action Hero features Jaideep Ahlawat in the other key role. Aanand L Rai, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar have jointly bankrolled the project under T-Series and Colour Yellow Productions banners.
