Tollywood Legendary actor Kaikala Satyanarayana passed away this morning at the age of 87. For a few months, Satyanarayana was unwell and was hospitalized a couple of times recently. However, receiving treatment at his home, this morning he left his last breath.
Born on 25 July, 1935 in Kavutaram in Krishna district, he started his acting career at a very early age with the film Sepoy Kuturu. Later, he acted in more than 750 films. He acted as villain, character, comic roles and his films include several mythological and folklore films. For his amazing work in films, He was also honored with the prestigious Raghupathi Venkaiah Award.
Mainly his film Yamaleela released in 1994 and helmed by S.V.Krishna Reddy was a blockbuster and brought the actor immense fame even among present generations. Kaikala also joined politics and won as Lok Sabha MP from Machilipatnam constituency on TDP ticket.
He was given the title of Natashekara by a non-government organization in Anantapur and as a Kala Prapurna by Kavali Samsrutika Sangam and as Navarasanatana Sarvabhauma by a cultural association.
Tollywood mourned the demise of a legendary actor.
