Telangana’s Chief Minister met farmers’ leader Rakesh Tikait on Friday at his residence, Pragathi Bhavan. This meeting has raised several speculations among political circles. Everyone wondered if this meeting has to do with KCR’s national political plans.
According to the political experts, it is almost confirmed that NDA’s presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu will win for sure. Even the Vice President will be the one backed by the BJP. On top of that, there are no elections coming up in the next few months. So, there might not be any national political intention behind KCR and Tikait’s meeting.
As per the reports, KCR met Tikait to discuss the farmers’ issues in Telangana. It is already known that the Telangana farmers are unhappy with the paddy procurement and non-implementation of the Rythu Bandhu scheme for the farmers who have more than 15 acres of land holdings.
To manage this farm sector’s dissatisfaction with the government, KCR wants to hold several farmer meetings across all the districts in the state. He is planning to seek the help of Tikait in order to praise the benefits and schemes introduced by the government for the welfare of farmers. Let’s see how this plan works out.
