The police officials have started their investigation and reportedly, Ranveer has sought more time to join the investigation.
The police have revealed the details as Ranveer Singh was summoned to record his statement on August 22 in connection with a First Information Report (FIR) registered against him at the Chembur police station. The police officials have visited Ranveer’s residence on August 12 to serve him a notice to join the probe, but he was out of station then.
A case was registered by a non profit organization that the actor “hurt the sentiments of women in general and insulted their modesty through his photographs.
