Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao met Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar the other day in Patna. After their meeting, both leaders participated together in a press meet. It is known that KCR met Nitish to make him join his national political front to fight BJP. However, Nitish didn’t give any clear indication of his support for KCR.
In the press meet, Nitish neither said he will support KCR nor said that he will be an ally with the TRS chief. Throughout his speech, Nitish slammed BJP but never spoke about his role and his party’s role in the upcoming national elections.
Meanwhile, Chandrashekar Rao stated that he and Nitish will work together for ‘BJP Mukht Bharat’. He said that it is not the third front that is coming up but the main front. He alleged that the country has lost a lot in BJP’s reign and that is the reason why he is uniting all the opposition forces.
On the other side, Nitish stated that BJP is damaging India’s reputation in many aspects. He opined that India will be on the right path only when BJP is thrown out of power. Meanwhile, political sources opined that though KCR went to Bihar to join hands with Nitish but he didn’t get an expected response from the latter.
