The third T20 International between India and Australia took place in Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International cricket stadium. The match went on until the last over and has created enough tension for the sports lovers.
Australia batted first and has given a target of 187 runs for India. Australia scored 186 runs in 20 overs, for the loss of 7 wickets. Australian skipper Tim David played a 54-run knock and Cameron Green smashed a 21-ball 52. Both have taken the team to a good score. The team actually struggled in the middle with consecutive loss of wickets but both the batsmen made sure that the score crosses past 160.
The Indian bowlers have done a great job. Especially, the spinners controlled the batting of Australia in the middle overs. Axar Patel once again starred with the ball picking 3 for 33 in his four overs.
Virat Kohli is the man of the moment. He is in a good form and continued the same. Suryakumar Yadav batted well and scored 69 runs off 36 balls. India lost the wickets of Rohith Sharma and KL Rahul very early but Suryakumar Yadav helped India to chase the runs well.
Later, Kohli was joined by Hardik Pandya at the middle. Kohli-Suryakumar duo added 104 runs for the third wicket. India needed 11 runs in the final over. Virat Kohli scored a six on the first ball but got dismissed for the second ball. However, Hardik Pandya scored the winning shot, resulting in India winning the series by 2-1.
