Gandhada Gudi is the latest docu-drama available in theatres. Starring the late Puneeth Rajkumar, the docu-drama garnered a lot of attention as it will be the actor’s last appearance on the big screen. The team and Puneeth’s family members took great care in coming up with the best quality. This is a special docu-drama that has got a lot of interesting elements.
First of all, the docu-drama will remain a special project in the Kannada cinema. Amoghavarsha’s cinematic expedition explores Karnataka’s vast and rich physical heritage, while Puneeth Rajkumar takes us through a journey of a lifetime.
In the docudrama, we can see a conversation taking place between Puneeth Rajkumar and wildlife documentary filmmaker/conservationist Amoghavarsha. The duo embarks on a journey through Karnataka’s rich biodiversity. Together, they have shared a set of riveting first-hand experiences.
It does not appear to be a typical docu-drama but has got many elements that keep us hooked to the seats. Gandhada Gudi stands out as the best documentary because it provides a place for the discussion of not just wildlife but also an intensifying journey of life.
On one hand, the conversations taking place on the screen give us much excitement and on the other hand, it is the soundtrack of B Ajaneesh Loknath that elevates the docu-drama altogether to the next level. Puneeth shares many interesting things about his life, from wandering in the wildlife to swimming and then riding a motorcycle in a jungle.
Gandhada Gudi is an unforgettable visual experience that will stay with us forever. There is no such docu drama so far in India. All in all, this is a fitting farewell to the actor, as the fans will forever remember his unembellished, and innocent charm until we meet him next time again.
We miss you, Appu!
