Lokesh Kanagaraj has become the trademark for new-age filmmaking with his recent work ‘Vikram’. Starring his favourite hero, Kamal Hassan, Vikram has become the gigantic blockbuster that actually created & set new records in the history of the Tamil Film Industry.
‘Vikram’ which started as a spiritual successor of the 1986 film of the same name, has also marked the beginning of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe – LCU. The film featured Karthi from ‘Kaithi’ and introduced Suriya as ‘Rolex’. Now another breaking news came in, confirming his next with’ Thalapathy’ Vijay to be a part of his cinematic universe. During the promotions of ‘Vikram’, Lokesh stated that ‘Master’ is the only film which is away from his cinematic universe. With #Thalapathy67 Vijay too shall be part of Lokesh Cinematic Universe. The news is confirmed by Actor Narain in his latest interview. He was seen in both ‘Kaithi’ & ‘Vikram’
Reported to be a gangster drama, it is rumoured that #Thalapathy67 shall cast Sanjay Dutt, Nivin Pauly and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the crucial roles. More details are awaited.
