After the national success of ‘Major’, Adivi Sesh took a gap before getting back at ‘HIT: The Second Case’. After rigorous promotions, the film was released last weekend and received mixed to negative reviews, like its predecessor, but did well with the box-office figures. But it couldn’t hold it for long.
According to the reports, the film collected ₹6.5 CR of the domestic nett on its first day. This is the highest opening for Sesh and the film maintained the same pace on the second day too and ended up collecting ₹4.5 CR on day three. With such a number, many thought it would hold a steady pace on its weekday run but unexpectedly the film witnessed a major drop on Monday. It is reported that the film hardly minted ₹1.8 CR on Day 4, which made the total collection ₹18.65 CR on the domestic front. International figures are yet to be reported officially.
Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, the film tells the cat-mouse chase of a serial killer & arrogant cop. The makers are planning to release the film across the Hindi belt with strong promotions all over.
