Superstar Mahesh Babu’s much-anticipated film SSMB 29, directed by SS Rajamouli, was officially launched earlier this month, sparking immense excitement among fans. Since then, several intriguing updates about the project have surfaced.
Amid speculation surrounding her involvement, Priyanka Chopra recently arrived in Hyderabad and reportedly participated in a look test. Meanwhile, the latest reports suggest that Bollywood star John Abraham has been cast in a key role.
Initially, the makers had considered Prithviraj Sukumaran for this part, but due to unforeseen reasons, he had to step away, leading to John Abraham stepping in as his replacement.
This marks John Abraham’s debut in Telugu cinema and his first collaboration with both SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu.
Touted as a high-octane action-adventure set against a forest backdrop, SSMB 29 is set to commence its regular shoot soon. The film’s story is penned by Vijayendra Prasad, with music composed by MM Keeravani, and is being produced by KL Narayana.
