The buzz about Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s national party (Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi – tentative name) has been in the news for the last several weeks. Inline with the ongoing news, KCR has held many meetings with TRS party parliament representatives, his old political friends, retired officials and senior financial experts. Earlier, he met some leaders from Andhra like Undavalli and others.
But, in view of the President election in July and the ongoing political crisis in Maharashtra, KCR is likely to delay his plans to launch a national political outfit to fight the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party. On the other hand, KCR assured TRS party’s support to the opposition’s candidate Yashwanth Sinha, who is in the fray opposite NDA’s candidate Draupadi Murmu. After a brief discussion with party leaders, TRS supreme may announce his decision officially.
While KCR is busy with all the preparatory work for his national party, Congress and BJP are going all out and making serious efforts to give a tough fight in the next election battle.
