India and England cricket teams are currently playing a One Day International series in England. The second ODI took place on Thursday night and England showed an upper hand in the game, thus, making the series 1-1.
In what we can call as a humiliating defeat, England beat India by 100 runs at the prestigious Lord’s Cricket Ground. The third match which will be the final one is now crucial to decide the winner of the series.
England put up a target of 247 and while chasing it, India lost consecutive wickets, and the top order performed miserably. In the end, India were bowled out for a paltry 146 in 38.5 overs. England player Topley displayed his excellent game skill.
Earlier, India bowled out England for 246. Opening batsmen Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow gave a beautiful start to the game. Chahal, on the other hand, gave his best to trouble the English batsmen.
Moeen Ali and David Willey’s 47-run partnership from 41 balls remained crucial for England.
The third ODI is going to take place in Manchester on Sunday.
