As we all know, the vaccination process against Covid-19 is going on rapidly across the country. Marking the same, India bagged a landmark in its Covid-19 vaccination drive against Coronavirus on July 17 as the cumulative doses administered in the country surpassed the 200-crore mark. Interesting is that India made it possible within 18 months of starting the vaccination.
India is taking strict measures from time to time to control Corona. Recently, few vaccination programs like Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and Har Ghar Dastak, have been implemented and they have accelerated the process of distributing free booster doses all over the country.
Marking the same, the Ministry of Health announced that 2,00,00,92,900 doses have been successfully distributed in India till 12.30 pm on Sunday (July 17). Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya in a video speech congratulated all the health officials and employees who achieved this feat.
“It is a matter of pride for the country that India has crossed 2 billion doses of Covid-19 vaccination so far. I congratulated the health workers and citizens who were responsible for this success”, he added.
