It’s not the money, but the person’s work and achievements that makes us remember them forever. Marking the same, Arvind Goyal, a doctor from Moradabad has donated his entire property to the Uttar Pradesh government to help the poor.
Surprising is that his property is approx Rs 600 crore and he has donated this entire amount to the poor. Goyal has been working for the past 50 years and earned this money with his hard work. Talking to the media, Dr Goyal said that he had taken this decision about 25 years ago.
On the other hand, by adopting Goyal during the Covid lock down time it has adopted 50 villages of Moradabad and provided the people over there with free facilities. He had even arranged better treatment and free education for the poor in the state.
Goyal has two sons and one daughter. He has been honoured four times by the President of the country, including President Ram Nath Kovind, former President Pranab Mukherjee, former President Pratibha Devi Patil, and former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.
