It has been almost a year since Naga Chaitanya and Samantha got separated from each other but still, their divorce remains to be breaking news in tinsel town. Once again, the issue has popped up due to a talk show.
Recently, Samantha participated in the popular talk show Koffee With Karan. She attended the show along with Akshay Kumar. During the interaction, Karan asked whether she took alimony of Rs.250 crores from Naga Chaitanya during their divorce.
Responding to the same, Sam said that divorce is not an easy task. For them, it didn’t end amicably. Samantha stated that she is stronger than ever now.
She went on to add that there were many rumours about her taking alimony of Rs. 250 crores but there is no truth in it. “When those rumours popped up, I thought IT officials will raid my house,” she joked.
On the career front, Samantha is currently awaiting the releases of Shaakuntalam and Yashoda. She is also shooting for Kushi, which is being directed by Shiva Nirvana.
