Union Minister Smriti Irani landed in political controversy over the last few days. The opposition party Congress alleged that Smriti Irani’s 18-year-old daughter Zoish Irani is running a bar illegally in Goa. Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera alleged that Zoish is running the bar with a ‘fake license.’

Hitting back at the Congress leaders, Smriti Irani stated that the allegations against her daughter are malicious. She alleged that Congress is trying to assassinate the character of an 18-year-old girl. She said that her daughter’s only fault is that her mother holds a press conference against Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi regarding a 5000-crore corruption case.

Irani asked Congress leaders to check the paperwork and see whether her daughter’s name is written on it. She also added that she will send legal notices to Congress leaders regarding the issue.

On the other side, Congress claimed that it has the proof to showcase that the bar is indeed being run by Irani’s daughter. Indian Youth Congress’ national President Srinivas BV shared a video in which Zoish is seen speaking about international cuisines and restaurants that are opening in Goa. With these twists and turns, we have to see how this issue folds in the coming days.
