YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh recently toured the flood affected districts in the state. The other day, he took part in the Jagananna Kapu Nestham event that took place in Kakinada. It was the third installment launch of this welfare program for the Kapu community in the state. While speaking at the event, Jagan took potshots at the previous government.
Interestingly, Jagan Mohan Reddy commented that his government does not consider any race, religion, caste and political party affiliation for people to get government sponsored welfare schemes.
At the same time, he directly criticized the government of TDP. “If I have to implement the welfare schemes to the people of our state, I just have to press a simple button and nothing more than that. The money will directly be credited to the bank account of beneficiaries. It is Direct – Benefit – Transfer (DBT). But, the previous government followed DPT policy which means ‘Dochuko… Panchuko.. Tinuko,” said Jagan.
With TDP becoming alert after a long time, the war of words between the ruling party and the opposition party is going on, in an aggressive manner.
