Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandra Babu Naidu opined that his party will bounce back in Telangana soon. He visited the flood-affected areas in Bhadradri Kothagudem district on Thursday. Speaking during his visit, Naidu said that TDP was formed in Telangana and it has a good history in the region of Khammam.
Naidu reached Bhurgampadu Mandal of Bhadradri Kothagudem district at around 11 PM on Thursday. He personally met the flood-affected families and interacted with them. He also offered Rs. 1 lakh to the family of Narsayya, who was stuck in floods a few days ago. Naidu reached Bhadrachalam at around 12 am and rested there in his caravan.
After the bifurcation of the state, TDP gradually started losing steam in Telangana. The only two MLAs of TDP joined the ruling TRS party last year. Once a celebrated party in the region, has no MLAs in Telangana right now. Going by his statements, it looks like Naidu and camp are focusing on Telangana now and are planning to bounce back soon.
