Smeed, who represents Birmingham Phoenix, smashed 101 off 50 balls against Southern Brave. His ton helped Birmingham in scoring 176/4 in 100 balls. Southern Brave got all-out for 123 runs and lost the match by 53 runs.
Will Smeed, who came into bat as an opener, smacked the opponent bowlers right from the beginning. He hit 8 fours and 6 sixes in his innings.
Southern Brave rattled while chasing this big total. Birmingham bowlers Henry Brookes (5/25) and Kane Richardson (3/19) took eight wickets collectively and destroyed the batting lineup of the opponents. As a result, Southern Brave got all-out for just 123 runs.
