Bollywood star Ranveer Singh landed in a legal soup for his controversial photoshoot. It is already known that he posed in his bare body recently for a magazine photoshoot.
A few weeks ago, a lawyer and an NGO filed a case against Ranveer Singh alleging that his photoshoot hurts the modesty and sentiments of women.
According to the latest reports, Ranveer was served with legal notice based on these complaints. It is heard that the Mumbai police went to the actor’s residence to serve him notices but Ranveer was not there at that time.
He was asked to appear before the police on August 22 to record his statement. Reportedly, he was booked under Indian Penal Code Sections 292, 293, 509 and provisions of the Information Technology Act.
Meanwhile, Ranveer is yet to respond to any of the reactions to his controversial photoshoot. We have to see if he will open up about it in the coming days.
