On Friday night, the Mumbai Police traffic control cell received a message threatening of an attack in the country, similar to that of 26/11, Udaipur’s tailor and Sidhu Moosewala. The threat was received on the Whatsapp number of the traffic cell and it sent an instant panic across the nation. However, the police immediately began the investigation into the same.
The sources say that the number that sent the threat is from Pakistan. The police officials have reportedly traced the location of the unknown number and there were reports that the attack would take place in Mumbai.
Reportedly, the unknown messenger also said that ‘six people in India would carry out the attack.’ The investigation in the same has been intensified.
“We are probing this. Work has been going on through the night. Other agencies have been informed too,” said the sources about the developments.
The opposition parties already started adding pressure on the center to trace the member who sent the message. Anti Terrorist Squad is already working on the same and more developments will be underway.
