We have already informed you that the Central Bureau of Investigation is currently raiding Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia. The case is now making multiple twists and turns. A day after being raided by the CBI over allegations of corruption in the liquor policy, the deputy CM of Delhi has now launched a scathing attack on the central government as well as Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In the middle of the raids, what comes as a big surprise is the late-night transfer of multiple IAS officers. Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena made a late night announcement ordering the immediate transfer of 12 IAS officers. The official notification has also come out.
The notification coming out in the context of CBI carrying out raids for over 14 years is catching the attention of everyone. The raids were carried out in the Delhi liquor policy case. Sisodia was listed as accused number 1 and14 others were named in the FIR in connection with alleged irregularities.
However, Sisodia said, “I have not done any corruption. We know that the probe agency CBI is being misused.”
The officers who are transferred are:
Jitendra Narain (AGMUT: 1990), Anil Kumar Singh (AGMUT: 1995), Vivek Pandey (AGMUT: 2003), Shurbir Singh (AGMUT: 2004), Garima Gupta (AGMUT: 2004), Ashish Madhaorao More (AGMUT: 2005), Udit Prakash Rai (AGMUT: 2007), Vijendra Singh Rawat (AGMUT: 2007), Krishan Kumar (AGMUT: 2010), Kalyan Sahay Meena (AGMUT: 2010), Sonal Swaroop (AGMUT: 2012) and Hemant Kumar (AGMUT: 2013).
