High tension prevailed ahead of Nara Chandra Babu Naidu’s visit to his constituency Kuppam. The TDP chief is supposed to inaugurate Anna Canteen in Kuppam today. Meanwhile, members of the ruling YSR Congress Party decided to protest during Babu’s visit.
Earlier this morning, YCP members destroyed the flex banners near the NTR statue and attacked TDP members. On the flip side, TDP workers destroyed the flex banners near the YSR statue. YCP members destroyed the tables that are arranged near Anna canteen. Both NTR and YSR statues are located side-by-side at Kuppam’s main centre. Anna Canteen is set up adjacent to the NTR statue.
Protesting against the YCP leaders, Chandra Babu Naidu sat on the road in front of Anna Canteen. “TDP and its supporters have the courage to safeguard democracy. Beware, Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy! If we all revolt, you will go hide in Pulivendula. I have seen many leaders in my political career but not an atrocious leader like you,” stated Naidu.
