It looks like Covid Cases are again seeing significant growth in India. On Friday, Mumbai registered almost 402 new cases of Covid-19 taking the total active cases number in the city to 3,414.
Also, three deaths because of the viral infection are also reported in the city, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said. Besides, almost 676 patients who got infected with coronavirus recently recovered.
Reportedly, The city is now left with 3,414 active Covid-19 cases and of the 402 new COVID-19 cases registered, only 36 patients were symptomatic.
As per the reports, With the new daily cases and fatalities, the overall Covid-19 count increased to 11,45,497, while the death toll increased to 19,705.
With all this, the growth rate of Covid-19 cases in Mumbai was at 0.5 percent in this week, while the case doubling rate was 1,536 days.
